Crazy some arnt sold on Herro… how many point we score that sixers series :mjlol:

Talking bout “fit” when we mid asf…Creh is 23 and we might have to give up 1 pick at most?!?

We have one proven 20 Ppg scorer on this team :damn:
Tyler Herro doesn’t address our need at point guard. We need somebody that can set the table. Dinwiddie ain’t it, DSJ ain’t it, even Damian Lillard ain’t it. The team will still be mid because they’re all shoot first minded.

Ben Simmons p*ssyazz would’ve Ben perfect but he a bytch so we got a logjam of combo guards looking to chuck.

They about to do some bullshyt I can see it :unimpressed:

The team needs scoring and Herro provides that.

Really all Herro would do is make the Nets at play-in team at best. This is a transitional year regardless so I rather just keep the team as is. Dinwiddie as much I don’t like him is a good deadline trade asset to have.

Bridges, Dinwiddie, Lonnie, both Cam’s. Sure another scorer will help but the team needs rebounding and size more than anything.
Dinwiddie and Lonnie are not proven scorers. The team literally couldn’t score versus Philly in the playoffs. Cam Johnson is a forward and not someone you would want handling the ball or putting it on the floor. He’s an elite 3 and D guy. Miami had top 10 defenses every year with Herro. We have a defensive ass roster, we need scoring. And if nothing else, his contract will allow the Nets to match if they move to get a bigger name guy because Ben is a negative asset.

The Nets are already a play-in sort of team. They’re not a solid enough franchise to just yank an entire year and lose. You want to look appealing to free agents also. Remember that’s what made KD and Kyrie want to come in the first place? Herro isn’t a game changer but he’s an improvement on offense substantially. But I do think it would hurt Cam’s minutes.

They are borderline imo, they were luck that they built a good enough cushion before Kyrie pulled that power play (which was dumb in retrospect, that’s another convo lol) to hold on the #6 spot. I’m not sure this team currently constructed is a play-in unless Bridges makes a superstar jump and/or Cam Johnson becomes a legit #2 imo. But if taking on Herro gives them additional picks or players, then I’m for it. As far attracting free agents, with this new CBA, it’s probably more important to draft and develop players. That seems to be Marks strength so hopefully some more good young talent can lead to eventually trade for a superstar that wants out.

Herro is basically a Harris swap. Im not crazy about it but it doesnt hurt either. We do need another scorer.

Outside of Dame which im not crazy about, not much else we can do to improve but hope Ben Simmons is healthy and shows up to somewhat of his old self. That could move spencer back to the bench where he belongs.

If not we'll still be nothing but a team that hopes jump shots fall every night.

They need to add Christian Wood.

Get back Nikola Jovic in the Herro Deal.
