  • keeping dimwiddie
  • overpaid cam
  • waited too long to trade harris for peanuts
  • signed some PG* who I forgot about…I know who the player is but am just completely drawing a blank on the name right now (that’s how irrelevant a signing it is but come to find out it was their “top” priority)
*edit*

*ok DSJ…had a temporary brain fart
None of us are thrilled about dinwiddie but what’s the alternative? There’s no benefit to trading him for a worse pg.

Cam has the size and skill set literally every team in the league covets and has shown growth with an increased role. He was getting that contract from someone either way.

Sure I guess the team could’ve cut bait on Joe at the deadline. But DSJ being a top priority is actually hilarious

I don't hate paying Cam Johnson. He's proven himself to be a pretty capable wing and we basically have him for the remainder of his prime.

This is a pretty weak PG market. As much as Dinwiddie is flawed there were no better alternatives.

Dumping Pattie Mills and Joe Harris for picks.

Basically these moves are for two years down the line with better free agents being available and maybe teams willing to deal better players.

2023-2024 will be a developmental year.

Dennis Smith Jr is a low risk signing.

Joe Harris can be traded to Portland because the trade with Detroit isn’t official till the 6th I think. Dinwiddie as well :lupe:

I figure they would want Claxton too and for the salaries to match, I say hell nah.

It was a pointless signing because Sumner is already on the team.
