Someone said he looks so young that some fans are still uncomfortable with him kissing girls. No way he gets a scene where he and selina are in bed or it's implied they had sex. People might not be ready to see an 18 year old in the full Batman costume. I am happy they didn't just cancel it abruptly at least they get one more season.

With fox getting thursday night football I was nervous that Gotham would get moved or cancelled.

The kid already had a scene layed up wit 2 bytches in his bed. And he's 17. Not 14.

I'm sure they'll give Gotham a spin off because Gotham averages almost 7.5 million viewers per episode from the original 8mil from the 1st season that's a measly 1/16th of a drop off in viewership on live broadcast not including streaming and bootlegging.

I think it's reasonable that David Mazouz would be given a chance to pilot Batman. How could they not?

There is no spin off happening.

Show was on the bubble of being cancelled,nothing to do with the cast. Fox is moving away from live programming. Consider yourself lucky you get some closure with a final season.

I actually think it has more to do with the imminent buyout from Disney who own Marvel I don't think it would play well with Warner Bros. if their rival was controlling their IP.

But I thought the series was getting better IMO. Fox will never leave Live broadcasting they're dinosaurs.

No it's public knowledge at this point. Fox is moving towards sports news and reality tv and that's about it. It came out around the buy out talks.
