I have heard the rumor you are talking about but it is in relation to Ms Kringle (the chick RIddler is obsessed with) not Barbara:

Nah she's only scheduled for 2-3 episodes

Honestly, I've been a fan of Jessica's since like 07 and Gotham might be the first decent thing she's ever been in.

And it debuted to less that 4 million viewers so this might be the last season, brehs :to:

4.5 mil, and that's good enough consdiering it was competing with The Voice, Dancing With the Stars and MNF. This is one of Fox's breakout shows, they won't pull the plug..

So it's gonna be that kinda party, eh?

:shaq:

I'm still :patrice:about the show putting all these things in motion at the same time.

Did The Joker even have an original name in the books? The Jerome kid is nice, but the thing that always made The Joker so :whoa: to me was that he had no identity other than a psychopath in clown face.

One of these seasons they're going to have to at least start in on Year 1, because I'm not trying to see Bruce Wayne dealing with his voice breaking and :sadbron:over his parents indefinitely.

It's not a breakout at all and 4.5 million isn't good for a show of this "magnitude". At some point they'll have to start thinking about whether it costs too much for the numbers it gets, or if it's a smash overseas. Almost Human from last season on Fox got slightly bigger/comparable numbers and they cancelled it, so it's not a good look. Sleepy Hollow is another one that's probably gonna get x'd too because of its numbers.

The fact that Gotham isn't doing well, and hurting Minority Report in the process is gonna put them in a tough position as to which one to cancel (if they decide to go that route).

Blindspot debuted to 10.8 million and that's the kinda numbers fox wants.

shyt, NCIS pulled in 17.7 or something like that. People are still doing numbers, so 4.5 ain't shyt for a primetime fall drama.

:comeon: Using CBS numbers? You know it unrealistic to use CBS numbers for the other networks.

:dwillhuh:Also, why are you using total viewers instead of the 18-49 ratings?

Even though I gave up on this series cuz I did not like Season 1, I saw the first episode of season 2 out of boredom and I was pleasantly surprised. I liked this ep, and I will at least give this show 2 more episodes for me to decide if I'll quit on it again. I really like Ian's portrayal of Joker (The Jerome episode was one of the few eps I liked last season). so I'm glad we'll be seeing more of him. Like one poster said, I actually like this Joker better than Jared Leto's version (but to be fair, we haven't seen much of the Leto Joker so I guess the verdict is still out on that one).

Finished up season 1 earlier today and was about to call it quits for this show. Disregarding everything I've read in comics, the show had some good things going for it (Penguin, Gordon and Bullock's chemistry) but was marred by some bad writing, near-cringeworthy lines, and some terrible plot points (Bruce and Selina's back and forth, whatever the fukk Fish was on during the last stretch of the season, Barbara going batshyt for what, Renee Montoya's portrayal :scust:).

But this episode rekindled my interest :ehh: I'll see how long I can hold up now that I'm watching it as it airs

Because 18-49 matters, but total numbers matter more. Plus, when people say "3.1 in the 18-49", that doesn't mean 3.1 million viewers, it means 3.1% of televisions in the US were on that channel at the time.

shyt, let these networks tell it, Live+3 matters more, because they're always in a hurry to say "Yeah we only got 2 millions viewers, b-b-b-but Live+3 was 2.1 million so.... We're in a good space to build. You should see the Live+7's, they're even better :troll:"
