What happened?
Just tired of it. Going to a different place every day. Drive 1000 miles to find out the customer is in someones back alley, and they're not even there.

Getting stuck cuz of weather.

Dispatchers slow to respond.

Working everyday.

shyt is trash

I ain't gonna say  but I'm sure you've heard about Swift as a mega company. Just get your year in and go local

Check out Clean Harbors you can do local and still make 65-70k. You need hazmat though.

A quote from the article

Embark also is aiming for an exit-to-exit solution, but it wants the trucks to run completely without humans until they are met by drivers at exit-point meet-up points.

Like I've said before, if it's over the road on large interstate highways, I can see this happening. But as soon as that it hits city highways/expressways, or actual streets, having a robot truck would be impossible

I agree. That's why I think it's best to get a well paying local job (Waste Management) or adding more endorsements like tanker and hazmat that won't be easy to automate. Besides that, I don't wanna bump docks:hubie:

Exactly. That's why those specialized trucking jobs like Flatbed, Tanker, Car Hauler, Tow Truck, Dump Truck, etc would never be robotic
I'll even say a LTL Dry Van wouldn't be robotic too. Let's see a robot truck maneuver blind side backing through a small parking lot delivering to Dollar Tree :lolbron:
