That's fair criticism. I don't see anything wrong with what he said.

You cant criticize Ray Allens comments ? He was there for 2 years right ? They went to the finals both years and won one what is he even critcizing ?

Ray Allen was probably gassed because he was old and it wears on older players at the end of a season more,to be criticizing the team or coach about practising and team commitments is ridiculous...I dont think Ray has anything to be critical about outside of maybe how he was pushed out at the end.

That the team was older and didn't need to practice as hard as they did.

I have no problem either way. Ray is entitled to his opinion and the Heat are entitled to run their organization anyway they want. My only problem is the reporters trying to make it seem like it is something bigger than it is.

D-Wade must be proud of the young lad using what he thought him.

See things like this get me mad because you know he can get to the basket almost at will now but he often struggles to finish. And until he does on a consistent basis the refs won't show him no love

I don't even look at it as criticism. Dude may have just been talking about why the team didnt play as well as they could have in the playoffs. Nothing malicious about the shyt. The headline makes it seem 100 times worse than the comment really is and it's not like the comment is bad at all if you ask me.

If you read the entire article after the headline the first paragraph of the article talks about Ray Allen making enemies and until you read the actual comments you thinking " oh my God what the fukk did Ray say? This fukker better not let me catch him in the streets"

And then you read the comment and you're like "That's it? Did I miss something?"

Look several of Riley's former players would often talk about his practices and call them career-Enders. And guess what Riley still signed them (Mason) after they said it. It's a well-known fact in the NBA that Riley-era KNick's practices and Miami Heat practices are career-enders for people that are at the end of their careers. Anthony Mason said it. Charles Oakley said it. Then Majerle said it. Shaq said it.

For a player like Ray Allen who is WELL known to be a workout freak that would go jogging 5 to 10 miles in the snow in the middle of the night AFTER A GAME to say it was too much you know it had to be too much.

Don't put this on Ray at all. This is all on the writer.

Funniest shyt I've seen all week

Hassan: :demonic:

Breh: :dwillhuh::whoa: :dead:

But yeah no lies were told by Ray. That 2014 season was brutal. Team had a lot of tread on the tires. Even tho they won the year before, they didn't look like they had fun anymore
They were exhausted and old too. They had no power forward or backup small forward most of the year. Bird looked tired at times, wade missed nearly 30 games, and Mario and cole forgot how to play basketball after the all star break. Bosh said it after the finals that the season was exhausting and a drain on everyone and it showed. The only time the joy they showed all year the previous two years was on display was when the grizzlies came to town and they got to give mike miller his championship ring in the pre game.

Plus one of our most important players retired. Shane Battier. Him at the 4 saved bron so
Much energy on defense so that he could work on offense. I guess the super star fatigue just set in for everybody that year and the expectations

Shane was there in 2013-14. He was just so worn down by a long career and playing power forward at the end of it that he couldn’t contribute anymore. His shot vanished and he couldn’t defend or box out anymore. He eventually played his way out of the rotation, just like Haslem did that season.

It was real interesting during that finals how whatever energy they had left was spent on games 1 and 2. They would've won Game 1 if not for that AC business...

Then they just suddenly collapsed in Game 3. In game 5 they tried again during the first half and built a huge lead but crashed again near halftime.
