I wanted to jump back in on this J-Rich discussion. I've always said it's on the staff to hone in on what guys do well and put them in position to succeed based on that. Rich is a great athlete, he's not a great on ball defender. In the past he's done well against the likes of Wall, Kyrie, etc., but bigger perimeter scorers he's going to struggle with..just not as sound on the ball like JJ or Winslow. That's not to say either one of them doesn't give up buckets, but they (particularly Winslow) have better on ball fundamentals.
As far as comparing him and Winslow head up, it's like the old running joke that if you have to win the big game always take the team with Chalmers over the team with Rose. There's a reason Rich was a 4 year player whose team was in the NIT for 2 of those 4 years, and another year they didn't even qualify for the NIT. And there's a reason Winslow played the best basketball of his lone college season during his team's championship run, it's called pedigree and it matters. Rich might have more flash plays and stat lines but if I have to choose I know who I want on the floor late in games.
