These days the NBA is like the NFL in terms of how they value draft picks.

I never understood the shyt how picks for unknown/unproven assets are valued far more than the proven ones. If you want a lottery to mid first rounder you'll probably have to give up something you dont want to part ways like Hassan or something. I know Riley is proud of the Bam pick but i doubt he's ready to hand the starting C position to the youngster. I like what i see in him but he's still learning.

Because it's a bunch of cap flexibility, these kids tend to be easier to groom, and you got so many freakishly talented youngsters out there.

Yeah but very different styles, tho

Like LeBron, JRich gets most of his on chase-down blocks. Whereas Wade is known for jumping with a Centers and sending their shyt back. But most of Wade's come via help defense when they collapse
