Breh, the time to tank and sell off assets was last year. We sell off Whiteside, we're not winning anymore but we don't have Picks this year. Bam simply isn't a starting center yet, as good as he is.
Whiteside doesn't have loads of value. People think he's a product of Spo and that he's a headcase. GMs weren't high on him and he's 29, he's injury prone, and he's inconsistent despite all his talent plus he's on a max contract.
He's too old for rebuilding teams and most of the contending teams aren't really looking for a center like him or don't want to make us better. Dragic is great but he's also older and most teams that needed a PG already got younger talent (Bucks, Mavs, etc).
I don't see the point in making moves unless they're either piling up picks for the honest rebuild or for a young superstar which just ain't available right now.
