Smart dumb people are the worst. They will completely give respect and credence to others like them, but will dismiss the other even if what they are talking about is as clear as crystal.
Reminds me of black scholars and writers who are derided by white people and called "racists" and "reverse racists" for pointing out the racist system that America has run on and how that dichotomy affects people on an individual level...but when someone like Tim Wise says the exact thing, those same white people who seethed at the mouth because of that black scholar's experiences are now treating Tim Wise's speeches like gospel.
Even though we were saying the same thing all along..
That in itself really shows how much they "get it" (not all white people ofcourse)...but their own hatred of anyone with a bit of melanin gets in the way.

this should be good, hear some of the things that have happened to my brothers and sisters. I should have known that wouldn't happen because when I went in there it had devolved into a discussion about how whites were the real victims of racism and how blacks need to stop complaining and pick themselves up by the bootstraps along with the obligatory "I'm black and I agree that we blacks are horrible and have no culture as well".
