Nobody said that Hayward's signing makes the Cs a genuine contender. Celtics fans are just happy that Ainge was able to add another all-star player (and scoring threat) while solidifying the team as the main challenger to the Cavs in the East.

I don't think anyone is putting the celts over Cleveland with the move. Besides he's a better fit for Boston than PG. and nobody thinks pg in okc puts them over the warriors.
