I don't understand the fascination/need to trivialize historical hardships by pretending your current experiences echos the anterior trials/tribulations/uncertainty depicted in the various yesteryear documentaries
voter ID/poll closures/absentee ballot deadlines are not poll taxes and literacy test, effective tools used to prevent voting during a time of limited educational/employment opportunities
No matter which ID you had, how long you waited, or the date postmarked...if you couldn't read OR have money, you not voting
It's funny how the need to have IDs is viewed differently depending on recipients...SOLUTION: allocate the same resources used to secure illegals' ID to secure voter IDs for Black folks. Also conduct various voting/info sessions highlighting open poll locations and deadlines, like is done for illegals in/out of sanctuary cities
