It has everything to do with intelligence, the roadblocks republicans are trying to put up won't work because black people will use their intelligence to work around them

The fact that you are having a brain aneurysm over my pointing out the intelligence of black people says a lot

There is no evidence that voter suppression worked in Wisconsin Hillary Clinton on Wisconsin photo ID, voter suppression

And nobody cares what republicans brag about, the fact is that black people are too intelligent and resourceful for any voter suppression efforts to have any significant effect
From your link:

Put simply: The voter ID requirement undoubtedly prevented or discouraged some individual people from voting. But the report attributes all of the lower turnout to the ID law, when there are many other reasons that could also explain it, including a lack of enthusiasm for Clinton or Trump, or perhaps a belief that Trump couldn’t win Wisconsin.

yeah the assertion was made that 200,000 people were stopped from voting because of the voter id law and there is no evidence to support that assertion,

the fuk is your point?
That the following statement is false.
There is no evidence that voter suppression worked in Wisconsin

Keeping it funky. . . What's wrong with an ID to vote?

Not defending any fukkery.:whoa:
There's nothing wrong with an ID to vote when you look at it in a vacuum. No different than you needing some type of proof in order to register. But even there we see discrepancies. In NC, people were purged from voter rolls for being "inactive" or possibly not who they say they were and were forced (encouraged) to re-register. Sometimes this didn't allow enough time. But what really makes this crazy is that many of these people registered to vote at the DMV of all places.

We have people whose sole purpose is to make voting more difficult. There is plenty of acceptable ID that could be used to allow voter ID, but that has never been proposed. That's why it receives so much backlash. Especially when it's being put in to counter a virtually non-existent issue.

Considering doing a research paper on this over the next 40 days.

Gonna dig through this thread and then do my own literature review on it. Will post any good info I find in this thread and any good articles or laws/proposed bills that others find would be greatly appreciated to help narrow the focus of the research.

In the Silver Lining
Now you have College Park, MD allowing non-citizens be allowed to vote in municipal elections....which is mission creep to allow them to vote in state and federal elections.

I don't know how other countries do voting for non-citizens, but I would love to see a study on the percentage of countries that allow non-citizens to vote at any level of elections. I would hypothesize 80% don't allow non-citizens to vote.

I just have a problem with non-citizens voting, regardless of race, religion, nationality. That is a right reserved for citizens.
