Never seen this mach dude get mentioned anywhere in the streets
Let's not play this game because we can do this for both of them :whoa:

All of Griselda if we wanna keep it 1000 :dayum:

Benny get mad features cuz just Benny is mad repetitive.
This is something I've been thinking during this whole debate.

Let the Booth tell it, Conway ain't dope no more because he's gotten too repetitive, but if he's repetitive, what is Benny? Its all plug and drug tales instead of what he and his his young boy will do to you. All of Griselda is repetitive if we're being honest, Benny just happens to be the best at rapping it.

Fatigue hasn't set in yet and the minute Benny drops a project that isn't up to par, all the flaws people overlook now will come to light.

I'm at least part of this Conway narrative that's going on so let me at least explain my angle of it.

I think they each occupy a specific space within the goon sphere. WSG is lifestyle rap. Conway is shoot 'em up rap. Benny is hustler rap. Now, out of all these styles I've always found the shoot 'em up heavy raps to get old the fastest.
:manny:
That was the major reason I knew 50 would eventually tank, because if you listened you could tell that beneath the fancy production and packaging that mostly he was a shoot 'em up rapper with some hustler raps sprinkled in.

Conway's recent projects just sound more stale to me and I can't put my finger on exactly why. With Benny I at least am getting an idea of who he is now. Like, I can really see the pictures Benny is painting. And he doesn't OD on the amount of bodies he caught. With Conway there's like 200 bodies caught on every project, and that's fine, but I just wish he did more songs like The Cow and Proud of Me. Benny is doing more songs like Babs, Langfield, and 5 to 50 that make me feel like he's trying to talk about who he is and on 5 to 50 he talks about living the straight and narrow.

Finally, I can suspend my disbelief a bit to believe Benny and WSG are still pushing. It's hard for me to believe Conway is really still catching bodies to the degree he raps about. I probably sound like I'm shytting on him more than ever. I'm just too wordy. I like all 3 of them. Maybe I'm sour over GOAT not living up the the hype. I just feel like Conway has been repeating "this next project is gonna be the one" ever since GOAT semi-flopped.

And yeah I agree that they're all a bit repetitive. But by nature I sort of expect all goon music to be repetitive. That's what I like about it. I just think we're in an age where it's so easy to release music, and back in the day we had to wait forever on music so our favorite artists don't get stale.

EDIT: @Zero Honestly I think it boils down to I think there's generally very little humor, a more cynical angle, and honestly a mean-spirited nature to Conway's raps that I just don't enjoy as much now that I'm getting older.

EDIT 2: Prodigy killed a thousand people on record but was charismatic, let us know who he really was, and made deeper albums like Hegelian Dialectic. Sean Price also dropped a thousand bodies but had a great sense of humor and charm.

I mean are any of them getting mentioned in the streets in 2019? Again I voted Benny in this poll and my :flabbynsick: ass may just be out of the loop, but besides shooting the shyt about music at get-togethers, cookouts, and barber shops, I don't even know what mentioned in the streets even means anymore. When I'm actually walking on the streets everyone I see is looking down at their fukking phones anyways and not even paying attention to what's going on around them.
