Yet these same companies told Google to eat a dikk when Google come to them with GoogleTV. Just like Apple is the largest buyer of samsung hardware but on the retail front they're at each other throats. Corporations will play nice if there's an opportunity to make money together, but once you're a direct threat to their marketshare/profit it's fukk you.

5 years max, this is a power move. Google has not even been around 14 years and have accomplished all this.

I already told people on sohh that blu ray would have maybe a 5 year reign at the top. I was off by about 6 months. Blu rays should be irrelevant to the tech heads in Kansas city in about 2 months

Even if they didn't have to put up with the other bullshyt. It's not possible to get that infrastructure setup in as much major cities in that short space of time and that's apart from it being crazy expensive. There's a reason why Verizon stopped rolling out Fios and wants to push LTE wirelessly to homes, that shyt costs fukkton of money and it takes a shytload of time. Google isn't a fukking charity.

which is why google copped motorola in the first place

These companies can bytch n moan all they want but competition is good for business and Google has the $$$ to back it up, in the end all it will take is one of them to fold

Nah, google bought Moto because their CEO at the time was starting to talk reckless about going after other android OEMs, it was about to be the end of android. Google had to make a move.

Competition is good for consumers no doubt and Time Warner/Comcast needs to be shaken up. They keep fukking the consumers.

I'd much rather see Google/Apple or Google AND Apple team up, say fukk it, buy T-Mobile and some spectrum and go after the wireless carriers though, now that would be a fukking sight to see.

I was so glad that AT&T could not buy TMobile, that would have been a problem
