That's cool and all but just realize that you're merely an early adopting beta tester and the rest of us will come on board when this platform is really ready for primetime at half the price you paid. At this point, there's no inherent advantage in being in your position.

i paid 250$ for my chromebook. one of my desktop wasnt working instead of buying parts to fix it i said fukk it and tried out the chromebook. bought it with the intention of running ubuntu on it. 3 weeks later im on the developer mode on chromeOS being fed that crack....chromeos gets updated every month it seems and it align with my android chrome beta browser in version number...so yes i love being a beta tester.....

I just call it like I see it...based strictly on specs its worth 400$ max maybe 500$ if u wanna be really generous. So what are u paying the extra 800 for? A nicer touchscreen? The google brandname? Ill always call out overpriced tech no matter who's behind it

I abandoned both to run chromeOS...ubuntu can be used on the chromebook now go kill yourself

I got my Alienware M15x with an i7, 8GB RAM, 1TB HD, dual 1GB video cards, Blu-Ray player and High Def screen for under 1500....oh, and it runs the Chrome browser like a mafuka


I am a big supporter of Google products....but 1200+ for this laptop

I will however continue to buy everything that says Nexus on it

I test server machine dummy using Linux with virtual machine of windows behind it for regular work programs. I use ubuntu for the past few years ya bish
