Goodfellas is a classic but what about Raging Bull?

Now, Goodfellas is a classic IMO. I really do think Scorsese did a wonderful job with that movie as well as the actors did too; Pesci, Deniro, and Liotta etc.

But to critique Scarface on it's own merit, that movie is horrible. Like it's unintentionally a funny movie.

Nah Scarface is off the chain, I dont rate Goodfellas as highly as others do. I think Casino is worlds better but that is a thread thats been done before.

To each they own but taxi driver is dope. Movie has a dope atmosphere and the direction is on point. Its top 3 Scorcese flick for sho.

I like raging bull but I put it at #4 . I got Goodfellas and Mean streets ahead. Along with TD.

Ehh on Scarface. But I agree with you on goodfellas and casino. I thought casino was worlds better. And I like Goodfellas but I never really cared for Liotta. He was so over the top. And he's like that in most movies he's in.

I hate to admit this but I straight during the scene where he beats the shyt out of Joe Pesci and KO's his own wife. Anyway excellent film.

Love Taxi Driver, think it's DeNiro's best performance and the movie itself is just a notch under Goodfellas IMO. And IMO Casino isn't even in the same league as Goodfellas.

Casino is a good movie, in fact, it's a really good movie but there are times throughout the movie where it feels like it drags on even though everything that was included in it was needed in order to tell the whole story. All in all a really good movie.

Taxi Driver wasn't really all that to me, I don't really like it. It's nothing like Raging Bull, Goodfellas and Mean Streets. And yes, I've seen it quite a few times.


Back to Mean Streets... that's another classic of Scorsese's that NOW gets overlooked. Mean Streets is right up there with Raging Bull and Goodfellas.

Nah, I don't hate it, I just don't really like it. But I also think it's one of those movies either people really like or don't.
