I was amped to see this...finally made time to watch it...bailed after the first 30 minutes...normally I find these types of movies funny...but I’m not sure if it was the script...the actors or both but it came across very forced and cringey to me...it just wasn’t fun for me to watch

I find it hard to believe 11-12 year olds don't already know about these

ya...granted the whole premise of the movie is them being good/naive but they made the characters the social equivalent of 3rd graders...they were just unrealistically clueless which made them annoying especially the black kid’s character

i think watching in theaters made the experience different if that makes sense. I can see this growing old watching it on the computer or at home

w/ certain movies absolutely...I don’t think this was one of them...besides I have a home theater that rivals some smaller theaters...wasn’t like this was a loud action movie where a theater environment would have a significant impact on the experience

I just watched it and loved it... best comedy I’ve seen in a while. What made it funnier for me is that I taught 6th grade for 5 years, and this is pretty much exactly how they act. I can’t remember the last time I genuinely laughed so much watching a movie.

Just watched this on HBO and thought it was :mjlol:.

Some of the fukkery the Bean Bag Boys :skip: were getting into felt forced, but it was entertaining for the most part.

When Max thought he was an ace with the drone :blessed:, only for his dad to come home like :mindblown:.

This shyt was so dumb. Like others have mentioned, they were too naive even for 6th grade standards.

Had some funny parts though, like when the kid gave Brixley the anal beads as a necklace

I just watched this and I felt the same way. This movie was so fucing hilarious, and anyone that doesn't find it funny is corny to me.
