Idk if I shytted on the movie when the thread was made but after a while I wanted to see it. It was like the Superbad prequel/ sequel I wanted when they tried to push for the movie with Jonah Bill’s sister as the female Superbad.
Def mad it’s not on streaming networks yet.

It's a decent movie but it wears very thin after like 60 mins and the main dudes were inconsistent. Sometimes they were bad (all emotional scenes) but other times they were good. Molly Gordon stands out as Hannah. With this and Booksmart it's pretty clear she's gonna be in alot of movies for the next decade at the very least. The Sören actor was also pretty good in his limited role.

I only wish Eighth Grade and Booksmart grossed like Good Boys. Both are much better movies about teens/kids

The Truth
Just watched it

it was funny but i dont know... too over the top in my opinion. Like some shyt was just unnecessary...

I wanted to punch fat black kid in his fukking throat the entire film... lamest in the group with always snitching and screaming like a bytch.

its aight, had it’s funny moments but i can never understand white people and the need to sexualize underage kids...

and some of these kids are 10, not completely naive to shyt. There’s more that i liked and disliked but not going to spoil it...

Funny... but Overrated af though

IMMIGRANT TETHERS
it would have been funnier if they made the kid s 3rd grader.

I don't know know. maybe it's was my era, but by 4th grade(99), most kids and I were already going through and finding out the same growing pains situation as these kids in the movie. by 6th grade some of my boys were already fingering girls our age and fukking girls older than us(not me :mjcry:).
I find it hard to believe 11-12 year olds don't already know about these

I haven't watched the movie. basing this off trailers

A lot of kids don’t know about that shot at that age, especially middle class sheltered suburban kids like them. I remember freaking out about my first dance in 6th grade not knowing if I knew how to dance with a guy and when my friend’s mom told us about fingering (6th grade) we were both perplexed as to why a guy would want to put his fingers in our vagina even tho we understood what sex was, all the extra shyt was foreign - but life and exposure/experience was a 180 from 6th to 7th grade for me.

Anyway, movie was just ok to me, some of what threw me off was how fukking square/naive the kids were given the amount of information available to kids these days via the net, the bytchmadeness of the black kid, and it being about boys. Like I wish they could do a companion movie from a girl perspective, might be funnier to me.
