Have you read any of the book at all? The audio book is on youtube... there's an very interesting portion in the beginning of the 'mindset of a mafioso' that is preaching about how to live to a group of young up and coming gangsters of various ethnicities and backgrounds.

I'm a few chapters in via audiobook and it's very good so far.

Apparently it's a true story, but I'm sure there's plenty of embellishment. My only complaint is the lack of law enforcement attention. I realize it's not the US, but IRL these clans and such are consistently dealing with LE.

Yea, that's my other complaint as well.

So they get to hold Pietro cuz they get him on tape ordering the massacre of Africans but don't bother going after any of the shooters/people he commanded :comeon:

I also think it could add another layer like how Soprano's had the FBI characters and constant stream of rats. It's less snitches in Europe and the laws are different, but adding some LE characters would be interesting, could have some corrupt ones too or have a made guy infiltrate the Guardia di Finanza or Carabinieri or vice versa.

However, I think some of the creators point is to show that LE efforts have done nothing and that the mafia and legitimate business are almost indistinguishable. That's absolutely the point he's trying to get across in ZeroZeroZero.
