So I caught up to the 2nd episode. It was worth the wait.

I really liked the stuff between Genny and Don Pie'. There had to be a lot of resentment for them to just be buddy buddy and I'm glad the show addressed it.

One possible plothole though: Pietro mentions that the Savastanos are on the ropes, that they don't have access to their money and that no one is to do business with them. But Genny has apparently become a huge drug dealer in the year since he woke up from the hospital. He mentions to the Honduran soldier that he has been selling their coke "all over Europe". We see one guy offering to buy 1000-2000 kilos of coke every month, so we can assume Genny has already moved thousands of kilos. And he mentions to Pietro that he "made a lot of friends".

So if Genny has a lot of money(how much money do you need to buy a couple of dozen AKs anyway?) and the contacts, why exactly are the Savastanos having difficulty tooling up?

I don't know weapons like that but it didn't seem like they were just getting simple AKs, that dude Mico was selling them military grade shyt. Grenades, rocket launchers, and high powered assault rifles.

I think to go to war with the alliance Ciro and Conte set up, they're going to need a lot of fire power?

I'm not sure what kind of struggle is going between Genny and Don Pietro though. Genny seems to have made a lot of connects but Don Pietro doesn't want to use them

all that has to be said about Ciro is that he's a wild boy for that first episode b.

glad this show is back.
the tension in damn near every scene in those first two ep's.
