I can't see that happening. He was a rat, a #bothsiders, set up that kid to do his dirty work, then killed that innocent 15 year old girl. Also took Imma out, and was never really Genny's friend to begin with. He just knew it would be easier to take the spot from him than Don Pietro. You cannot trust this dude. In my eyes ain't no coming back from that. But I see the bar is lower for others.

All that building up of Conté they did in S1, only to completely destroy his character in a few episodes in S2. shyt is crazy. And the plot armor for Ciro is getting kind of thick.

I'm into S3 and nah. Ain't no redemption story for Ciro. I'll never forget what he did to the kid and his girl. Along with killing his own wife. I'm looking at Genny funny for working with someone that killed both of his parents and also setting up a loyal soldier like Malemore. So far both Genny and Ciro have shown they ain't built to be leaders.

For better or for worse, Genny needed his dad to be gone, so he give Ciro the location. Genny had establish himself directly w/ plug in Latin America and with the Calabrians (saved his dad from getting lit up in Germany), but his dad was never going to give him a chance. Genny set Malamore up b/c he knew Malamore was going to kill him, which Malamore was doing in that scene where he gets killed (dope ass fukking scene)

Ciro grimy af, constantly meddling, causing dissent. Don't forget in the first episode he was the snitch that was dropping info to the police

I understand why Genny set his father up, however Don Pietro was right in his thought process. He gave Genny the chance to show he could be the man and he failed and got his mother killed. There was no reason for him to hand power right back to him. Genny accomplishments showed he could be a good second in command but he wasn't ready for the top spot yet. And that was put on display again in Rome. You're right about Malamore I forgot they were setting each other up.


I'll say Don Pietro/Malamore went to far killing Ciro's daughter but it was hard to feel sorry for him after he killed that innocent girl. And yeah I forgot to mention he is a snitch ass bytch too.

What I like most about the show is it knew when to bow out -it never got to the point where it dragged.

Every so should know by season 6 at most it's time to bow out.

This show had a level of grimy I didn't know was possible to depict on television
