I am not a fan of the wire, and think it may be overrated honestly, but I drew comparisons instantly with this show. Imo, this show is fukking flawless. The placement of the background music, that heartbeat and subtle drums occasionally really intensifies those scenes.THE NATURE BOY KNOWS YOU'RE A HUGE FAN OF THE WIRE

Ciro is a fukking G. It's obvious he'll take the family over. Genny wasn't bout that life, goes on vacation and comes back wild as hell.
Many reasons why Ciro will take the helm.
It seems like the only person that can really stop Ciro is Conte since his survival depends on the their alliance. I highly doubt Don Pietro will be able to run the family as a fugitive even with Malammore helping and then there's Genny who got his entire crew clapped, he won't be much of a threat if he recovers.
