Going to the movies alone....

I've gone alone a few times over the years. It's a lot less of a hassle, that's for damn sure and I've never seen it as a big deal to do or why some folks are against it. Just recently, my 2nd viewing of the Avengers was for dolo and due to the bullshyt that happened with the fam during the 1st time, I told my wife that I might not ever try seeing movies with them again.

Nothing to do with feeling insecure. If Im gonna spend dough on a movie might as well enjoy the company of some friends. If I'm gonna watch a movie alone i can just download that joint and watch in my draws

I don't want to share my experience during a movie, I want people to shut the fukk up and watch the movie so going to a flick alone is fine with me.
Concerts and sporting events are experiences I enjoy sharing with people so I go to those things with other people.

Last movie I saw dolo was The Longest Yard because nobody but me wanted to see it

Only reason I've been to a game alone is because I know someone who has company season tickets. One time she had one ticket open and offered it to me for free. Free ticket to a game, I'll go even if it is solo.

when you look at the activity there's really no reason to take a woman to the movies. its a terrible date. you don't get to talk much or interact. you just go watch something on a screen that you end up paying an excessive amounts to watch anyway.

I hope people don't do this when they are in the 'getting to know her stage'
