what! lol...Jack dempseys go hard......laid back shyt

Blockheads serve that motherfukking patron margarita that can not be replicated...reasonable price

Latitude had good roof top ambiance...get a couch...eat with ur chick...real reasonable price

Virgils is above average

Jack Dempseys might be my favorite place, it just be chill in there

I dont like blockheads cuz it's a bit too fratty in there and for some reason, a bit ghetto at times.

Lattitude has decent happy hour, their rooftop is ass though, you gotta climb so much stairs and only a few seating, i guess you gotta go early. Their fries with the sauces are great though. I like Social which is on the next block better.

Jack Dempseys is alright.

Not much choices in midtown for great bars. I been so spoiled by free company happy hours and industry events that every bar I go to I expect free shyt lol.

New York fukkin' City
Man, reading threw this thread reminds me of how much NYC's nightlife is such a shell of its former self.

The clubs of today couldn't hold a candle to the megaclubs of yesteryear. I remember sneaking into Limelight when I was 15 and feeling like I just walked into another universe (it wasn't the drugs) and today's club scene just can't match that vibe. Spaces like Tunnel, Twilo, Sound Factory will never exist in our city again and it's a damn shame what's happened to the club culture.

I'm not a snob, I'm just a new yorker.

I like chilling at lounges, going to cheap ass bars because I'm pretty frugal, and freeloading off birthdays at clubs.

I'm sure older New Yorkers say the same shyt about 90s NYC not being like 70s/80s NYC with CBGBs, Studio 54, and Bronx backyard hip hop parties w/ Kool Herc and Hercules and Hollywood :stopitslime:

I feel you on chilling. I usually go to this one dive bar and get hooked up and drink for mad cheap. Good music, on the weekends theres a dancer, and it has this chill Cajun vibe

I hate clubbing most of the time, especially since NYC has obnoxious drink prices unless you're a dirty hipster and like Bushwick PBR warehouse parties
