Going to NY for first time, is La Guardia airport bad?

My people in BX so I fly to LGA. I worked for SWA 7 years ago and LGA and MSY were the worst airports. Smelled like raw sewage. Haven’t been since it’s been redone though but heard it’s nice.

New Orleans has been redone as well so all airports are pretty nice now. Airports make too much money to smell like trash.

It was bad and looked like a bomb hit it before the redesign. Now it's better especially if you fly Delta, Terminal C. Easy in and out.

It's fairly nice. Head to city island enjoy your stay up here. NYC in the summer is great.

As someone who has yet to fly, I wonder the same thing.


To an outsider, LGA & JFK seem better than the Amtrak and Greyhound stations in NYC.


Most Greyhound and Amtrak stations don't even have rental cars on site While every airport in an major city at least has rental cars.


Air travel is by far the best way to do long distance travel, the U.S train and bus options are

Yea as of right now for local flights in America LaGuardia is the best. JFK be having logistic issues more specifically in terminal 4.
