I'm landing at EWR then have 6 hours to get to jfk

Should I take an Uber? Taxi? Or can I trust the train?
6 hours? Fam. You could take a slow taxi :heh:

You'd have a safe 2 hours. You could even take some time to do some quick sight seeing before going to JFK. Depending on traffic. You should have a good 3-4 hours to yourself.

I recently went to NYC in July. The airport was pretty nice and although I have 'Clear' there was no lane for it but the security line was maybe 5 minutes on a Sunday morning. I had not issue there and would go to La Guardia in the future. I've heard bad reviews before but after going this past July it has changed so much. Also the free bus was a plus which got me to the subway to Grand Central.

The TSA sections of LaGuardia is super fast now…it’s probably cuz that shyt is like in a wide open ballroom type of space now with like rugs, like a hotel room…it’s weird..it don’t even feel like they checking anything

But it’s quick as hell now

And the terminal turns into like a mall

He from out of town. Could get lost.
That's 2 commuter rail lines. He'll be alright. its not like someone is suggesting to take the A train. The amount of people I would see get lost going that route...

@GzUp is your coworker a New Yorker who left NY years ago?

LaGuardia is newly constructed and still not totally complete so maybe he hasn’t seen the new thing yet
Ya he’s like 50 or something, he says he’s from queens… idk when he left NY though, next time I see him I’m gonna ask him about why he said to only us JFK.

Depends on how much stuff you have. With just a carry on, going from ewr-jfk, id take the train. With a check in bag id take an uber. Depending on the time, It’s actually faster to get from ewr to jfk by train.

Yea dont listen to nikkas who dont live here lol. I fly out of ewr sometimes if the tickets are that much cheaper. An uber or taxi from ewr to jfk will cost like 100-150. The trains will be a combined less than 20 bucks(nj transit + mta).

Oh and to answer the OP’s thread. LGA is my preferred Airport. The great thing about nyc is we have choices. Other cities dont have that luxury.
