But the dude is irresponsible as fukk.

You statistically have a world ending threat in front of you every 5-7 years on average since you were 5 years old breh.....in what world do you think you no longer need to train and prepare for shyt

When did Gohan even become the earth's sole protector in the first place? especially since almost none of this is his fault

Outside of freiza, none of the threats were natural, and were directly caused by other Z fighters fukking up. If Goku, vegeta, krilin etc took cell seriously, he wouldn't have been perfected in the first place.

Buu was only revived because goku and especially Vegeta gave babadi the power to do so. In future trunks' timeline, buu saga never even happened, since trunks took the kai warning seriously and got to business with babadi and dabura immediately.

Beerus is debatable, but gohan wasn't going to beat him anyways.

Goku Black is also partially goku's fault for damaging the kai's fragile ego in a fight he didn't need to do. ToP was directly goku's fault for ignoring multiple pleas from beerus to just stfu and leave zeno alone. Goku was looking like a villain for putting the universes at risk over a game.
