The FDA has to approve the tests for use on the American public. They felt the specs provided for the WHO tests weren't up to par. The Director of WHO, the FDA, and Dr. Fauci have said this Live on TV countless times.

And if you read the excerpt on the WH response to swine flu-- it was almost half a year after WHO labeled it a pandemic that Obama declared a national emergency. And I'm not even faulting him in any way.

This is a new virus with a new set of circumstances surrounding it.
