. The point I was trying to make was that Trump and right wing media are trying to crate a new Boogeyman to take the heat off of themselves and it's working like a charm.
It's all China's fault now. Forget about getting rid of the pandemic response team 2 years ago, or saying that it would go away when it gets warm, or that it's just a big Democratic hoax. This is just a PR campaign to control the narrative and it seems to be sticking this time around.

You realize this wasn't some meeting where Trump sat there with Obama while Obama put on a PowerPoint presentation? Trump wasn't in the room for this, nor was Obama. On top of that, are you suggesting Obama's team has some magical plan that apparently as we can see in the present day NO OTHER COUNTRY seems to have thought of?

Well for one not taking this virus serious from the get go. Also why did he not go with the WHO tests that were already in the field? He could've immediately hit the ground running instead of causing a delay by electing to try and have the cdc develop thier own kits. Reinventing the wheel Is the furthest thing from an agile approach
Perhaps having a pandemic response team could have alleviated some of this.

he’s the president of the United States. Every single thing he says and writes is going to be talked about, reported, and scrutinized. You can’t NOT mention or report things the man says on live television.
Plus we live in the age of social media, and everybody releases their thoughts and feelings about every single subject.
Omarosa was on Big Brother, and claimed he tweets outrageous things on purpose so that gets the attention, meanwhile he’s cutting funding and making all kinds of executive orders that don’t get attention.

SK has contact tracing that allows for mobile phone tracking through gps. Our gov't doesn't have that ability.

The thing is, most of those areas are food deserts, and don’t have grocery stores, so those people are limited in food choices. If they go away, then what are they replaced with? Low income Black people magically come up with funding for businesses?
