Ehhh

Everyone including midcarders were more over then obviously, but Godfather's pops specifically were mostly just for walking out with p*ssy.

Maybe initially.. but listen to the crowd chant along with everything he's saying. That's what's missing in today's WWE. They don't have a lot of characters and catchphrases. No reason for fans to give a shyt.

LOL @ most of the replies so far mentioning the hoes

I remember a hardcore match where one of the hoes somehow temporarily won the Hardcore title, and the announcer actually said "The winner, and NEW WWF Hardcore champion...one of....Godfather's.....hoes." :laff:

yo i remember that shyt..loud ass pop for that

:ohhh: "Good point. There aren't enough good catchphrases from mid-carders focused on getting over, huh? I think Sandow's got a few good ones.

Remember back in WCW when Konnan was in the nWo had ALL that shyt he'd say before matches & the crowd would chant along? shyt was :win: when we were kids...same with the New Age Outlaws & DX as a whole.

Sh1t like this makes you remember how open the E used to be.

Godfather walks in the ring, gets on the mic, asks the crowd how many pimps are in the house, then proceeds to say that he's pimpin ho's nation wide..and tells everyone to roll up some of that sticky green

:ooh:

Would be unheard of today.

shyts :wow:

It's not even on some nostalgia shyt....they all had characters. That entire midcard for that ppv had some storyline...some history...some reason to give a fukk about them being out there. That's just the MIDCARD. Forget Rock/Austin/Triple H and eventually Big Show.

Now? :pacspit:
