This is already off to a bad start if true. The alignment of modern day Arab Egypt with the Ancient civilization is nasty work.

If something happens to Atrues, he'd kill anyone.

:yeshrug:I rather play as a new character with Kratos being playable at the midpoint of the game. Like how Capcom did with Dante and Chris. In DMC4/5 and RE8 piz no Atreus.

If something happens to Atrues, he'd kill anyone.

Atreus getting in trouble is kinda the only way it makes sense for Kratos to leave the Norse lands right now seeing where he's at at the end of Valhalla.

But this is "God Of War" I don't care what the narrative is. Kratos has to kill Gods. It is what it is , Make it happen Santa Monica. (We'll see it in 3 years lol)

make atreus into an older more evolved character with his own quirks and character flaws. Design him better and give him more of a trickster god persona.

let what he did in Egypt cause those gods to look for kratos or vice versa. Meanwhile loki is a foil to kratos while he runs through killing whoever attempt to get in his way.
But also don’t make the Egyptian gods purely all antagonistic either. Make it like a mob movie where there’s people plotting from the inside. Make kratos fullfill Tyr’s role that he played in Norse Mythology as someone who puts a stop to warring realms

also bring back jumping and platforming.

it doesn't line up storywise for his character.

but realistically what else are they going to do? This is a franchise about a god killer killing gods. There aren't anymore Norse or Greek gods to kill.
So unless they do a remake of a past game. The only option is to find him another panteon of gods to kill, or stop making any more God of War games.

I would think the roman gods are the most popular after the Greek and Norse ones. Jupiter, Apollo Neptune, Mars etc. But Egyptian are pretty well known too. and fell like less of retread,

If you think they will make a game where he doesn't go around killing gods i don't know what to tell you.
