God Of War: Ragnarok (Nov. 9th, 2022) (PS4/PS5) (Valhalla DLC out 12/12/2023)

Ok so got to Tyr for the first time on "Give Me Mastery" but loss. I can get to the Greek Area now without using any tablets.

Finished, great epilogue to Ragnarok. I dont think theres any other angle gameplay wise and story wise that could have been more satisfying. The story and og fans got their fix and the gameplay fanatics get their fix forever.

Some thoughts

Spoiler: Boss battles and lore hints

i feel like Tyr’s weapons were hints at pantheons we could see in the future. The Mayan/aztec sword, the Egyptian khopesh, and the katana. Those were also highlighted in the 2018 game as the other pantheons Tyr’s been to. I 100% knew the Katana would be the last weapon because of that.

Just all around really dope experience that redeemed such a teased character, after all we saw him do was yoga in ragnarok.

One of the most satisfying DLC’s I’ve played, especially for free.

This is probably the best DLC i ever played. Crazy that it's free. Easily would of paid 25 for this.

they rebuilt a bunch of the old god of war levels in this engine

i bet they do a remaster using this as the bones...

I’m new to gaming and when I saw the DLC announcement (never played a DLC) I assumed it was some combat shyt like Muselpheim or that hard ass area from GOW2018, and figured I would get bored quickly since I’ve already replayed the game 2wice and almost platinumed…

But this Valhalla is fun as fukk. I was wondering - is this normal DLC type content? or did they do a good ass job?? (Seems like the latter from the reviews I’m reading) I’m having hella fun lol
