God Of War: Ragnarok (Nov. 9th, 2022) (PS4/PS5) (Valhalla DLC out 12/12/2023)

I'm still fairly early in the game. Just finished the side quest shutting down those rigs for Mimir in Svartalfheim. Got to one of those islands and ran up on a fiery scar in the ground. Then these fire draugur popped out and started giving a nikka the BUSINESS. Had me ducking, dodging and rolling for my got damn life. My health was one hit away. Atreus came through in the clutch though

Saved a nikka life. I'm noticing this game doesn't drop a lot of health stones like the 1st game. They only give you health after you complete the battle. So it forces me to be a lot more careful and strategic.

Athena is alive she appeared in 2018 trolling Kratos. The 3rd one she evolved into a higher being.

How ever, I feel 2018 has the better story, or it was told better.

I could really feel the “aight wrap this shyt up” vibe towards the end of Ragnarok.

I think there were some missed opportunities for awesome set pieces during the last chapter.

I'm on Give Me Balance. Just found Tyr and yep this game is a lot stingier with health drops.

I guess this was the entire point of Odins obsession death. The gods in this game fear death the way we do in real life, everyone else knows of Valhalla and what not is waiting for them. But Odin having to know everything was tormented by not knowing what awaits him in the after life.

It takes like 30 shots to kill a grunt on gmgow difficulty lol. Melee is the fastest way to kill them with "redacted"
