Maybe I recall it differently than what actually happened but they all ended up in hell because the God Hand came for Griffith right? Not because Griffith sent them there. Once they were there, they were all gonna die regardless. I genuinely remember like that. If its wrong and Griffith sent them there then I need to go back and watch it again
