by NFL standards, he was wide open. It was clear as day in the replay they showed from the QB's viewpoint.

Not sure what point you're trying to make. Smith just unleashed it, as he should have. Had nothing to do with it being a great pass or anything. 60 NFL QB's make that play, it was so obvious

I didnt say it was a great pass, I just said I dont think it qualifies as wide open when the pass was thrown. with hill, it obviously has more qualification to be considered as wide open

The point I'm making is that you can't be mad at us for applauding Smith for making the play because eventually those opportunities will present themselves if you keep drives alive and keep the defense on the field. Y'all want QBs to have a perfect arm and take risks down the field all the time
