This just goes to show you that reps are everything. Hopefully Hightower is okay. The Pats don't look like they're on the same page at all. Just a bad game from them.

Don't be foolish. That was a blown coverage. If you don't understand then just say so.

The point I'm making is that you can't be mad at us for applauding Smith for making the play because eventually those opportunities will present themselves if you keep drives alive and keep the defense on the field. Y'all want QBs to have a perfect arm and take risks down the field all the time

No it wasn't.
the safety was moving away and split second after the throw was made. hill was in the process of speeding by gilmore but he wasnt wide open yet, but by the time ball arrived hill was wide open (speaks to gilmore's 'coverage' on that play, not sure what he was doing)

Maybe so.

But he IS better than what a lot of those other trash QBs we've seen. Bortles, Tannehill, etc.
2017 and people think Alex Smith is still trash.

Dude can play, his ceiling is just not very high because he has confidence issues stretching the field and taking risks.

by NFL standards, he was wide open. It was clear as day in the replay they showed from the QB's viewpoint.

Not sure what point you're trying to make. Smith just unleashed it, as he should have. Had nothing to do with it being a great pass or anything. 60 NFL QB's make that play, it was so obvious
