Yep, and they need to see Gore's run production goes down by damn near 1.5 yards due to these formations.

I think they're beneficial to guys like LMJ, but right now Frank has to be a big part of the plan to win playoff games. And if it means putting in some meat and potatoes type run plays, please do it.

I think our best chance Saturday is hope our defense gives us all they got and Justin plays like superman

I don't think it's that crucial.
The Niners will run the ball out of regular formations. The key is, if like in the first game, when the Niners run the ball can they get to the edges...that's where Frank got all his yards...not between the tackles.

I actually think Green Bay having some semblance of a running game plays into our favor. It'll allow us to keep both ILB's on the field and I think that GB will be stubborn and stick with it, even when it's not working.

we dont win with our offense. thats kinda common knowledge

and if defense doesnt play extremely well against the Packers, its a lost cause. there is zero way our mediocre offense can keep up with Rodgers and co in a shootout

and um, our ILBs are on the field literally like 99% of time regardless of the opposing offenses strengths, lol
bowman has 1024 out of around of total 1060 snaps, pat 1000 out of 1060
thats considering many games either we blew out teams or we got blown out

after the first two games, fangio stopped putting dbs in for our ILBs. I actually am not sure why, because we did well doing that and cox looked good. now coxs back behind brock for no good reason

Who said anything about the defense playing like shyt and we win? All I'm saying is I don't think we need an out of body experience type game from our defense to win this game. Both units compliment each other. As long as we can move the ball (which we should be able to do) we should be fine.

This game is going to come down to ball control, because we all know we're not getting into a shoot out with the Packers. If the defense sticks to fundamentals and takes away the deep routes, forces Rodgers to throw underneath, and allows minimal YAC we should be fine.

havent really seen the team adjust much the second time we played someone

the only exception I can think of is the saints and maayybe rams (on defense)

everywhere else as the opponents see us we never play better than in the first game, on both sides of the ball.

on defense, I like fangio, but he goes with the 'if it aint broken' thing too often for my taste.
if the offenses know our weaknesses, they are able to exploit them because they know exactly whats coming
he needs to dial up some blitz packages when our pass pressure isnt working, imo

Yep, I don't see how it isn't crucial.

If our defense doesn't play great, we will lose bottom line.

I`m not ready to given them a ton of credit at this point, we lose every third game. This really hasn't been the best coaching year. Roman is a fukking mystery man and his bizarro playcalling has cost us games.

I dont recall him having many problems with injuries last few weeks. hes in general too dependent on the line opening holes nowadays. doesnt help that the QQ formation or whatever its actually called is hurting his production.
