:mjlol:You’re acting like you don’t know any of their music, stop it man. There’s a reason why Drake put Cole on his album. It’s because he wants that same respect that he gets. Sales don’t matter cause all that means fans who don’t even care for Hip Hop as a whole is listening. Never get sales confused with quality.
Ducked the question again what growth has Cole or Kendrick shown
What about their last albums are different from their previous few lol

What’s experimental about KOD? What Cole was rapping about is what’s currently happening in the music world. Dope head rappers are what’s popular now. Not to mention Thot rap. Drake wearing rainbow attachments to his hair and making thot rap as well.

Is he lying? Look how rappers are hypocritical. He can also be contradicting as well. But him and Drake go way back, they got music together back when they were both blowing up.

All I’m saying is people talk about growth but ignore other artist who have stayed essentially the same as well
What is j Cole talking about now that’s different then what he did in 2010 lol

KOD and FHD have different lyrical themes entirely.

Cole in 2010 was more of a ladies man rapper who rapped about the common inner city blues, his struggles to getting signed, going to college.

Cole has more depth in his music than Drake though. Same with Kendrick. What everyone calls “boring” is them speaking about relevant things.
