Drake has the machine behind him and a lot of money behind him...

He's this generation's Jay-Z...wave hopping azz Canadian.

Glasses ain't lying.

At least Kanye actually made beats during the Rawkus/Roc-A-Fella/backpack era.

Laced Talib, Jay-Z, Mos Def, and many others his Beats

*But I can understand people feeling a way about how Drake move

*Taking other nikkas sounds n waves n repackaging it for himself

*It's kinda corny

*It kinda like a nikka on a forum running around with ya avi or somethin

Its funny nikkas always felt this way about Drake, they just waited for years for him to have a low point to get these talking points off.

Its hate regardless but it would of looked more ridiculous if people were saying this when he was clearing a million first week,

One consensus "weak" album and now all these feelings and talking points flying out.

:mjlol:

You nikkas got amnesia or something…muhfukkas been having this same EXACT conversation since the moment Drake emerged …literally spanning decades at this point….the truly wild thing is Glasses trying to get a post-rap podcast career popping off of forced reheated “Drake ain’t from the hood” takes like the shyt is provocative in 2023 :russ:

“Ooooh they gonna go crazy when this clip hits the internet streets “

Says who? As long as Drakes rapping, hes ALWAYS going to be reminded. Hes the one who claimed that nothing was done for him and is up there with the greats but got exposed as a liar for having ghostwriters, being an industry plant and etc. He tried to cosplay as a music artist and realized he was an bad actor the whole time. Glasses malone is on point.
says billboard

says major online blogs

says the millions of fans still crashing sites to buy tickets to his concert

says most of the folks who listened to For All the Dogs

He ain't wrong...but this going to come off as hate, bc Drake has his lane as a pop artist. You want people to throw on fukking talib kweli at a party or club?

Personally I'm glad these conversations are finally being had, concerning this fraud. Drake has bamboozled the culture into becoming a legend, so Glass' point is mute, at this point. BUT he's ALWAYS been an orchestrated, pre-packaged, plant. A Disney actor, turned mainstream rapper, talkin street shyt? :comeon:

Again...pre 04' a lot of these squares would've never got on, in the first place. Ye blew the doors open, for certain folks to even be accepted. Aubrey would've been ridiculed, shunned, slapped, extorted, and ex-communicated from the culture in the early 2000s or earlier.

He only got lit, cuz he got that co-sign from Baby, Wayne, J Prince, and the Cash Money conglomerate. Shouts to Baby, cuz they knew what they were doing, and had the foresight to know, Drake would takeoff like a rocket. They knew Drake would appeal to the mainstream, and as BIG as Wayne was, he could've never crossed over the way Drake did, just off aesthetic alone.
