its not Oscar worthy like they were probably hoping
the CGI animals are bad but the cinematography is great
Denzel is on cruise control but he keeps you entertained
its going to be a Saturday night TNT/FX staple along with the first one

6.2/10 Jake Paul just wasn't it for me dawg. Macrinus my nıgga, fụck these cacs. The ending was rushed and fell flat. Where the fụck did the evil twin emperors come from? There was no real backstory to them which would've elevated this story 1 point.

yeah, if it was only 16 years after Joaquin killed Marcus Aurelius, how did it get to them so quickly? are they part of the bloodline? it's a good question, who the hell were those dudes?

Pedro, Zel, Connie were great performances for what they had. The 2 twin emperors, given the limited backstory were also great. The politicians on the side had a waaaaaay more interesting story than fake ass ole Jake Paul looking gladiator.

There also was no reason for Macrinus to have vitriol for certain characters given his motives although i closely resonated with him given today's political climate and the glorification of corruption. That is also why the ending fell flat. It was a nepotism wet dream.

In fact, he was so good, I'm slightly intrigued about the next fantastic four just to see him and the evil twin do good.

Denzel was a NYer chilling in Rome/Malta fụcking shıt up putting the battery in everyone backs. Connie Nielson from Gladiator 1 delivered a stellar performance in part 2.

Despite all biases, there was some good acting. The main character was boring and a favorable privileged kid. Commodus shouldn't have died for him. That's not a spoiler. Everyone's seen gladiator 1.

I watched an hd stream. I started downloading it thinking I may want to watch on my leisure. Surely enough right after it ended I refreshed and it was gone!

Luckily I have it downloaded. Might turn it on for background noise. It looked pretty cool but they weren't saying much.

9/10 this was a dope ass movie, I paid attention more to the main character than really Denzel's role so I can't gauge if he killed his supporting role.
