Here we have another story about someone giving up paying on her student loans. She had three kids but the student loan was more than the mortgage. That 25 year to life plan is no joke.

At 44 years old, Nicole Jackson says she has bigger concerns than the six-figure student loan debt that has shadowed her for the last 20 years.
Jackson, a Miami, Fla.-based family law attorney, gave up on ever paying off her $186,000 federal student loan balance years ago. At $1,600 per month, her monthly loan payments would easily eclipse her $1,200/month mortgage and she and her husband are raising three teenage daughters.

Eradicate student loans altogether and make the average 4 year university tuition the same price as a brand new PS4



or just make higher education in general free like grade school is



theres no reason why we should be getting nickled and dime for simply wanting an education



If they cut back on military budget this is possible

Don't feel bad if you can't pay it back. Pay it back to the community (tax payers) in other ways. Help put someone else through school, especially if you see someone doing good but struggling to buy books, etc. I've done that, though my loans are deferred. Healthcare, housing, and education has a many positives as far as helping people (the different programs) but there's a huge element that is money laundering (taking public money and giving it to private individuals and companies) so do NOT feel bad if you can't pay it back. Nine times out of ten it wont end back up with the people it was taken from, anyway. They'll take more money from the poor saps (which will now include you) they got it from the first time.

I honestly wish I was more educated on loans when I first started them. I didn't take out an abundant amount, but Id definitely would have took my pre reqs at a community college then transferred to univ.
