LMA as a 8th man > random player as 8th man. He will help them win 1 to 2 games in playoffs
I'm looking at it from a Lakers standpoint.
The Nets were going to get another player off the buyout market regardless. Better him than Drummond.

I could just as easily see him costing them a game or two with his horrible defense or trying to force feed him the ball. I look at it like the Clippers of last year. At some point you can have too many people who's one dimensional talent is only scoring the ball while being a negative in other areas.

he is much better than that. he can legitimately post up. honestly he would arguably be the best low post player the lakers have had in awhile
Drummond is one of the least efficient post players in the league. Best case scenario he's the lob threat Dwight was and chases down rebounds. Overall, I don't think he's much of an upgrade over Gasol.

Lakers are gonna treat him like they did Dwight last year, he will have to rebound, try to play defense, and get easy lobs. No plays for him and that is Drummond's best case scenario anyways.

One good thing about our recent drop in the standings which is irrelevant if we are healthy by May is that our draft pick got better. We should be able to have our choice between Sharife Cooper, Josh Christopher, Cam Thomas, BJ Boston. But the front office doesn’t really value first rounders so I wouldn’t be surprised if they trade it. We need to start focusing on youth tho

I didn’t mind it tbh. Draft was weak and Dennis fills a need. It’s evident when Bron and AD are healthy. But I’ll be pissed if they give away our pick this year. This is one of the drafts where the value lies in the first 6-7 picks and picks 20-25. I want them to take a chance on BJ so bad, hopefully he gets repped by Klutch. Or even Sharife, we won’t have to overpay for Caruso.
