If the budget is only 28mill.. then it might do well enough. Not like it's some 80-100mill blockbuster

That's a pretty large budget for a movie like this.

Just looking at Kevin Hart's films for a comparison. Think Like A Man had a budget of $12 million, Ride Along (an action movie) had a budget of $25 million, Think Like A Man Too (In Vegas) had a budget of $24 million, About Last Night had a budget of $12 million.

Girl Trip has double the budget of some of those movies.

Even Bad Moms, which seems to be the closest comparison starring Mila Kunis, Jada Pinkett, and Kristen Bell had a budget of $20 million.

But maybe they got a large tax break for filming in Louisiana.
