Just a really good episode, I liked how it delved into Hannah's mom's character.

not much to add with the jessa subplot but props to shosh for making it happen, and marnie finally finding someone who might put her on the right course

a combination of adam finally finding a purpose to dedicate himself to plus hannah's insecurity = whatever that mess was. it's like hannah was willing it to happen all this time, so it finally did

Really good episode again.

That last scene

shyt was devastating b. But this episode was really about Adam. Just looking at his character arc from the first season to now? It's astonishing. And what makes it so sad is that Hannah being in the relationship just realized the arc, or put another way, she didn't know Adam as well as she thought, or was oblivious to the person he had become, which was mainly spurred on by having some sense of purpose to life.

I want to say that there's something to be said about alcohol consumption in this episode. Beginning with Hannah getting shytfaced, Adam saying that he fukked women to keep from drinking, I dunno, it's late, I'm tired, maybe I'm just reading too much into it :ffs:

The whole interaction between Adam and Hannah up until where they stop having sex was hilarious. I was dying throughout that entire part of the episode.

Shoshanna was brilliant in her scenes. Just her acting and not saying anything was great to watch. The second plot of the episode I didn't really feel though. I just thought the whole dinner scene was a bit blehh besides Shoshanna. But the scene with Jessa on the stoop was interestingly filmed, but just didn't hit me the way I think it was intended

when shoshanna said "how does it feel" i'm sure we all knew exactly what she was gonna say, and hannah was totally prepared for it.

good stuff brehs. best thing is they arent creating conflict for the sake of it cause the season is ending or anything.

Though it's sorta lame, judging by next week's episode Marnie and Desi are gonna hook up, so even though he's kept the entire relationship between him and Marnie professional/strictly friendly, and even though there is admittedly some skrong sexual tension, he's going to flip on all that loyalty nonsense and still end up hooking up with Marnie?

I mean that's just based off of the previews for the season finale but that sorta chafes with me

Really loved the exchange between Ray and Adam in the bathroom. It's why I fukk with Ray so much, every sequence he's in I'm like 'I can feel that bro.' And yeah, I guess like yoyo said, I get what he's saying...but he's human too

But the last line with Adam saying he loved the apartment is still sitting with me because I feel strangely irritable about the Adam Hannah relationship thing. It feels like it's just been "Will they? Won't they?" for a few episodes now.

Hannah was a mess this episode. She storms out of GQ saying that she prides herself on being the only truly authentic person but she still always patting herself on the back about how good she is which isn't all that authentic if you're having to remind yourself. When Marnie is singing and she says she's a good friend, when she tells Marnie she can't judge her about anything ever again.

And how many times have the guys on the show told the girls to relax?
