Maybe saying he's a "better actor" isn't the right words.
He was a different character in these scenes. He was "normal."
Adam has always been one of the oddest characters on TV so the way Driver played him was different, from his posture, demeanor, etc.
We know that characters evolve from when we're first introduced to them but I wasn't familiar with this Adam.
Its hard to explain... there's a different beat and vibe to the way he is and it wasn't there.
It's the 1st episode of the season so maybe things will be back into the swing of things as the season progresses.
