I brought up the association because it gave him a certain amount of instant celebrity.
Reggie Bush was a great college football player......had an unremarkable pro career. Still has a high level of fame/name recognition to this day because of association with that family years ago.

Booker is on the cusp of NBA superstardom and that fame outside of basketball fans is a plus.
