I wonder what that thing feels like on your hand. is it slimey? sticky?

(I'm sure someone could make a dirty joke out of that)

Mother nature correcting itself.

There was an inguana infestation and constrictor infestation until that Winter happened. The snakes are still around, but the iguanas died off in large numbers. Haven't seen one in years around the canals.

Florida is turning into America's Australia.

Invasive pythons (Burmese and African rock) are a huge problem, not just in south Florida, but parts of central and western Florida too now for those who don't know. They're breeding faster than they can be killed. They're wreaking havoc killing dogs, cats, waterfowl, small alligators, etc. Florida's subtropical climate and lack of large, plentiful predators allows many invasive species to go ham.

I live in north Florida, where it's cooler, but even here I see lizards and frogs on a daily basis...and even armadillos sometimes. I like the flora here...except the fukking cockroaches. :scusthov: God I hate the cockroaches here. I opened a draw at work the other day and there was a giant one running around in there. If I see one in my house, it fukks up my entire day.

when I lived on South Beach there were these ladies that would come and leave food for the stray cats on my block. but all types of critters ate that food. one day I saw a possum eating the food and the cats really didn't care. then, I shyt you not, toads were eating the food. they would sit there and just hit the food with their tongue. and again I shyt you not, but those toads all got big and fat as fukk. then the snails were eating that shyt. I just imagine that's where these huge snails come from
