In this market and this climate, he's definitely worth $27M a year. Now, he probably won't be worth $30M when he's 34-35-36....but right now, he's definitely worth it. Victor Martinez just got $17M a year. Russel martin got $16M+.
Im not really talking about market value though. those deals are fukking retarded as well, especially russell martin's :scust:

Overseas basketball money is still better than NFL money :yeshrug:

For real? Outside of the NBAers who go straight there. What about those cats who going straight there from college ball, playing in Israel, Greece, etc. What they pay looking like?

fukk throwing a football or shooting a jumper. If you have a son and he's big and can hit a ball 1 out of three times with some power then you should push him toward baseball.

3/10 is good enough. That's 33% less and you're still considered an all-star :wow:

If you've got a kid that's in love with the game, and is showing some talent at it, i'd push him hard as i can at baseball. players generally make more and it's far less destructive to the body. The only real drawback is that unless you are some prodigy like Trout, then you have to wait a few years in the minors not making shyt to get to the big leagues.

Yeah, just say you don't understand baseball and move along. Citing batting average and fukking RBIs.....:mjlol:

hes only 25, his highest was 37 homers in only 145 games, his walk rate is improving and hes added some speed to his game last year (although might be an aberration)

no one in baseball s really worth these kinda numbers nowadays imo (prime Barry aint walkin through that door :sadcam:) but your analysis is weak.

Yeah I don't think I understand baseball. This is clearly a legendary player in the making here with a lot of impressive numbers.

Moving along.
