I'll always listen but the expectations of it being good are low
that last album was horrid and full of bad cheap beats you could tell a white producer made.

Sour Soul was alright but he hasn't made an actual really enjoyable album since Wizard of Poetry.. thats probably the last album that felt authentically Ghost. most of the shyt he's did sense then are mostly him being approached to do these albums by other people.

Unfortunately that's just his voice these days imo.

Cam'ron the same.

Old men now, age, drugs and alcohol have affected them.

Okay.

But not in all cases. Rappers like Kool Keith, Method Man and Raekwon kept their signature voices.

10 years ago a fellow emcee heard some of my 2012 tracks and said my voice deepened - to instead rap at the tone of my 2003 work. So I listened and applied that.

Because as a rap fan I didn't want to be that nightmare. Of pretending to like my favorite artists new work by 50%.

I can name 2 others of the top who's voices went 1. Deeper 2. Slower 3. Lower energy 4. Growl and not the dope kind.

Then there's rappers who lose their values and what they stood for in life - in their rhymes.

Scary biz.
